Istanbul Water Expo Hosted Professional Visitors From 59 Countries!
The fair season was opened with the exhibitions organized by ITE Turkey. IWE Istanbul Water Expo, the first and only specialized exhibition of the sector; which gathered the water and wastewater treatment technologies industry under one roof, received great attention. The exhibition hosted 3.539 professional visitors.
The exhibition also had great international interest and was attended by professional visitors from 59 countries including Egypt, Germany, Iran, Iraq, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Tunisia and U.A.E.
Organized by ITE Turkey who organizes leading exhibitions in leading sectors in Turkey, IWE Istanbul Water Expo – Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies Exhibition and Conference, where the latest trends and developments in water and wastewater treatment technologies sector are exhibited, had great attention. The exhibition which took place on 3 - 5 September 2015 at Istanbul Expo Center gathered 95 participating companies and 244 brands from 11 countries with 3.539 professional visitors from 59 countries.
The exhibition took place with the support from Republic of Turkey Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, Iller Bank, Union of Municipalities of Turkey, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Istanbul Water and Sewage Administration, Izmir Chamber of Commerce and United Cities and Local Governments Middle East and West Asia Section.
With the “Hosted Buyer Program” that took place as part of the exhibition, many constructive B2B meetings were held between participating companies and professional visitors. It is expected that these meetings will have a positive contribution on the growth and development of water and wastewater technologies industry.

In the conference that was organized in cooperation with MEM – TEK National Research Center on Membrane Technologies as part of the exhibition, representatives from the public and the private sector and academicians were present. In the conference that received great interest, subjects of “Water and Wastewater Management and Its Future”, “Sustainable Use of Water Resources”, “Successful Practices in Water and Wastewater Management”, “Membrane Technologies” and “Clean Production Technologies” were covered.

Next year, IWE Istanbul Water Expo will take place on 1 - 3 September 2016.
